Meet Erin Pickwick, DMD
Dr. Erin Pickwick is the daughter of Dr. Kathy Huber and her husband, David Sitz. Dr. Pickwick grew up helping in her mother’s office from a very young age, and our long-time patients may recognize her from their previous visits to our office. In 2004, she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Loyola University of New Orleans. She attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and graduated in 2010 with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Dr. Pickwick pursued her advanced education in general dentistry residency through a year-long postgraduate program at the University of Alabama and the VA Medical Center in Birmingham. She has practiced in the Gwinnett area since completing her residency.
Dr. Pickwick has a lifelong commitment to continuing education and regularly completes additional training to stay up to date with the modern advances of dentistry. She also devotes her time to leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association®, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society. She is a former president of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry.
She also enjoys giving her time and talents in dentistry to the community through volunteer work with organizations and events, such as Georgia Missions of Mercy.
Dr. Pickwick lives in Lawrenceville with her husband, Ralph, and their two sons, Owen and Ethan. In their free time, they cherish being surrounded by family and sharing the experiences and adventures of travel, cooking, and outdoor activities!
Meet The Team
Lori
Office Manager
Lori has been with Heritage Family Dentistry since 1988. She grew up with a family that worked in the dental field. Her mother and sister were both dental assistants who inspired her to pursue her career in dentistry. Lori started as a dental assistant and was soon promoted to the front office coordinator and office manager. She has since earned many certificates in office and practice management and has taken numerous dental continuing education courses.
Lori has an award-winning attitude and a positive influence on our patients and staff. She loves our patients and does whatever she can to help them achieve the results they want, creating a beautiful smile and improving their health. Lori is proud to work with such a wonderful group of women who are not only masters of their fields but also feel like family.
Lori has been married to her husband, Wade, for over 33 years and has two children, Hunter and Hailey, and two grandchildren, Haden and Averi. Keeping with the family tradition, Hailey graduated from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta and has begun her journey as a dentist. Hunter has pursued a career in Accounting and works for Dematic as a global financial analyst. Lori loves traveling to the beach for herself and indulging her husband's love of exploring big cities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
Ellie
Front Office Coordinator
Ellie graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Finance. She comes to Heritage Family Dentistry from a finance company that she managed for 10 years.
Ellie enjoys coming to the office every single day. She loves seeing our patients’ smiling faces and feels fortunate to work with an amazing team and wonderful doctors. She is always willing to help and encourage people and finds joy in learning something new every single day!
Ellie is originally from Bosnia but has lived in Georgia for most of her life. Ellie and her husband have two sons, Adin and Amar. They live here in the Grayson area and take great pride in serving the Grayson community.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to the beach and mountains, and just being outdoors in general. She spends most of her time chasing and playing with her boys.
Ketsia
Lead Dental Assistant
Ketsia is a highly skilled and dedicated certified dental assistant, currently serving as the lead assistant. With a strong background in communication and hospitality, Ketsia brings a unique blend of technical expertise and exceptional customer service to her role.
Before transitioning into the dental field, Ketsia honed her customer service skills as a specialist at an airport in New Jersey. This experience provided her with a solid foundation in managing diverse client needs and delivering top-notch service under pressure.
Ketsia graduated from Berdan Technical College in Wayne, NJ, in 2011, earning comprehensive training in dental assisting. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development ensures she stays current with the latest advancements in dental care.
Outside of her professional life, Ketsia enjoys outdoor activities, spending quality time with her family, coloring, and exploring new cuisines. She is married with two boys and has been a resident of Georgia since 2013. Originally from Jersey City, NJ, Ketsia is also a proud owner of three pit bulls.
Ketsia’s combination of experience, education, and personal interests makes her a well-rounded and compassionate dental assistant, dedicated to providing the best possible care for her patients.
Sylvia, RDH, BSDH
Dental Hygienist
Her warm, approachable style allows her to build lasting relationships with patients who value consistency and a higher standard of care.
Outside of the office, Sylvia enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family, taking long walks, and volunteering at her local Romanian church.
Brittany
Dental Hygienist
Brittany is an experienced and dedicated dental hygienist, renowned for her expertise in patient education and creating beautiful smiles. Having worked with a variety of offices and dentists, she has honed her skills and developed a comprehensive understanding of dental hygiene.
Brittany graduated from Athens Technical College in 2011, where she received training in dental hygiene. In her commitment to advancing her skills and providing the best care for her patients, she became certified in local anesthesia in 2023.
Her passion for patient education ensures that each individual she works with is well-informed about their oral health, leading to a more confident, healthier smile. Brittany’s approachable and caring nature makes her a favorite among patients of all ages.
Outside of her professional life, Brittany enjoys nurturing her collection of house plants, attending concerts, and watching sports. She resides in Monroe, GA, with her husband, son, and their three cats.
Steaphine
Patient Coordinator
Steaphine is a graduate of Gwinnett Technical College. She has been in the dental field since 2015, but she joined the team in 2023. She enjoys creating a relaxed and joyful environment by cracking jokes and keeping a smile on her face. Her main focus is to make each patient feel respected and comfortable. She has been married for 12 years and has two daughters, Riley and Violet. In her free time, she enjoys books, running, and spending time with her family.
