Digital X-Rays
Less Radiation, better images.
Low Radiation Digital X-rays use 90% less radiation and provides immediate images to quickly diagnose hidden problems. We are not only able to reduce your exposure to radiation but also increase the diagnostic proficiency. In addition to increased diagnostics, we reduce the amount of harmful chemicals and other waste materials associated with traditional X-ray technology.
Dental Sedation
Relax while we work.
Nitrous "Laughing Gas"
Also known as laughing gas, Nitrous is a sweet-smelling, non-irritating, colorless gas that can be breathed to calm a patient's anxiety before a procedure.
It is used primarily for its anesthetic and analgesic properties. It is a safe and effective gas that the patient inhales. It is the most commonly used sedation technique in dentistry.
Oral Sedation
Are extremely anxious about visiting the dentist? We can administer an oral sedative to relax you before performing any restorative dental procedure. Safe and effective, Oral Sedation allows you to remain awake and aware, but your anxiety will be reduced for any dental procedure.
3D Conebeam X-Rays
We have 3D Cone Beam Diagnostic Technology, allowing us to understand your existing bone mass better. You should never get a dental implant without having a 3D image completed first!
Intraoral Cameras
See what we see.
Intraoral cameras allow you to see up close what is happening in your mouth. The intraoral camera is a lightweight, stylish tool which can be used in order to take quality color pictures of your teeth and gums and other parts of your mouth if necessary.
Dental Lasers
Dental lasers are devices that use focused light energy to cut, reshape, or treat soft and hard tissue in the mouth. They work by emitting light at a specific wavelength that is absorbed by the target tissue. Different wavelengths target different materials, which is why there are several types.
What they're used for:
- Soft tissue procedures — gum contouring, frenectomies (tongue/lip tie releases), treating gum disease, exposing impacted teeth for orthodontics
- Hard tissue procedures — cavity preparation (removing decay), sometimes as an alternative to a drill for small restorations
- Teeth whitening — some in-office whitening systems use laser or light energy to activate the bleaching agent
- Treating cold sores and canker sores — low-level laser therapy can reduce pain and speed healing
- Bacterial reduction — lasers can be used during deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) to kill bacteria in periodontal pockets
- Biopsies — removing small tissue samples for lab analysis
